Meeting the Met’s Net-Zero requirements

RJ Power have been working tirelessly on the tender and delivery of several high-profile projects for our customer base in the West. Most recently, a large-scale job for the Met Office, Exeter, involving the installation of an 11kV package substation, plus associated ground works and cabling.

The team carried out HV upgrade work to enable the installation of EV chargers for the staff and visitors’ car park areas, with further HV/LV infrastructure upgrades proposed to meet the business’s net zero/carbon footprint commitments.

‘Very satisfied with the work carried out by RJ Power on our recent transformer project,’ says CBRE Project Manager Stewart Collis. ‘The staff involved were knowledgeable and courteous, accommodating the client’s strict operational requirements with patience and professionalism. Looking forward to working with RJ Power again on future projects.’

Huge thanks are extended to CBRE for their invaluable help and support, and to RJ Power’s Matthew Moore, Jack Down, Stephen Milam, Jonathan Clark and Ian Shipsides, who worked long hours to deliver this project.
