SALARY
£45,900 – £58,419
Based in our Sidcup offices, Kent
EXPERIENCE
- Possess degree in engineering, construction or business
- Previous experience of working in a similar role within the engineering, electrical or construction industry
- Experience in using Microsoft Office, in particular Word and Excel
- Specific experience with Distribution Network Operations, Independent Connection providers and electrical contracting
- Has a good working knowledge of CDM regulations and general health and safety legislation
- Experience in working within a busy office environment
- Experience with dealing with both internal and external customers
- Experience in working to deadlines and prioritising own workload
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work well under pressure and respond to changing demands
- Flexible to undertake a range of different tasks within the working day
- Able to adhere to policy and processes
- Takes a proactive approach and has a willingness to contribute new ideas
Job description
- Build and retain positive and trusting relationships with prospective, new and existing clients
- Complete detailed sales visits and surveys to support the production of detailed and accurate quotes and the handover of technical information to the sales and operations teams
- Complete PQQs, tenders and quotes
- Conduct on-site scoping surveys to identify and document quantitative requirement
- Review diagrams, schematics and points lists to determine quantitative requirements
- Support the development and maintenance pf proposal benchmarks and metrics
- Respond to and manage enquiries relating to the above
- Liaise with the Procurement and Assets Administrator and approved suppliers to ensure we always obtain competitive quotes and excellent service from our supply chain
- Follow up on sales leads
- Any other duties commensurate with the role and the broader aims of the business
