SALARY
£48,825 – £59,044

EXPERIENCE
- Possesses the core set of Networks mandatory health and safety competencies, or willing to achieve these if not already possessed
- Previous experience working in a similar role within the electrical contracting industry
- Good technical knowledge and ability to apply previous experience to a range of tasks
- Ability to successfully communicate and gain trust with clients and subcontractors and other specialists as required
- Self-motivated with a dedication to continuous improvement of technical skills
- Good attention to detail and able to accurately complete required documentation
- Hold a minimum of an HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Knowledge and experience of working with 11kV, 33kV and 132kV systems
- Previous experience of mentoring and supervising a team of less experienced technicians
Job description
- Identifying, implementing and complying with applicable safety, environmental and quality standards, company procedures and policies and other relevant legislative and regulatory requirements
- Support the Senior Project Manager and SAPs with day-to-day activities required to deliver work in line with the project plan including safety, quality, schedule and cost objectives
- Provide regular detailed input into project meetings and regular progress meetings as required by the Senior Project Manager
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, providing accurate and timely input and ensuring completeness of all mandatory documentation
- Take ownership of client technical queries, seeking advice of senior members of the Engineering team where required
- Perform feasibility studies, site surveys and liaise with subcontractors and other specialist functions such as Testing and Commissioning, as required
- Manage the delivery of assigned small projects, jobs and tasks ensuring that the work is conducted in a safe, timely and effective manner in line with the relevant procedures
- Provide onsite delivery of key engineering tasks in line with your authorised skills and competencies
- Any other reasonable task as requested by the Senior Project Manager or Managing Director
